Amenities were generally plentiful and well-maintained.

We were disappointed by the lack of coffee and tea in the room. The absence of a gym was frustrating, as we expected more fitness options. we found the lack of a launderette inconvenient during our family stay.

Just a good pick for a cursory stop in Side with outstanding value for money. The pool area was great for kids. they had a blast. Bring your own towels, as the cleaning staff often didn't leave enough for everyone.

I stayed at Gazipasa Star for four nights with my family. Our Double or Twin Room had a balcony overlooking the pool, which was a lovely spot to relax. The room felt clean and comfortable, though it could have used a bit of updating. I appreciated the shuttle bus service to the beach. the beach club was excellent, with free sunbeds and umbrellas just by showing our hotel wristbands. The buffet breakfast offered decent options to start our mornings. On the flip side, there were some annoyances. The extra costs for air conditioning at £45 per week were unexpected, especially in July heat. Wi-Fi in the room also came at an extra charge of £12 per person per week, which felt excessive. The evening meal was priced at 400 Lira and, while the food was okay, it didn't seem worth the cost. I did notice that the reception staff weren't very welcoming, which made the check-in experience less enjoyable. We had to bring our own towels for the pool, as sometimes there weren’t enough provided. The lack of a gym and launderette was a slight inconvenience for our longer stay, but we made do with what was available.

Family with children, great memorable stay

The kids loved the water slides and the pool was always clean it was a hit for our family. Eating the freshly picked oranges from the trees around the hotel was something else, made me feel like we were in paradise.

It wasn't economical but still felt worth it.

had a super fun stay, the staff is really friendly and the pool area is nice and private. they even have a shuttle bus to the beach which is really useful. There's a market on site. the food was pretty good too, lots of tasty options. i appreciated the early check-in when we arrived, made it so much easier for us.

I loved the intimate and clean double room that came with a cozy balcony overlooking the sparkling pool! The private area around the pool was a total gem, offering a perfect retreat. Plus, the shuttle service to the beach made exploring super convenient and fun!
